BIOMASS
Abigail Estrella

- Biomass energy is converted/transferred into usable energy when garbage is burned to heat water witch creates steams and steam rises and spins turbines and turbines generates electricity.

- Biomass energy is used today to get heat for our home, or burn it to get energy for a car engine, or some other purpose.

ADVANTAGES
-It makes sense to use waste materials where you can
- The fuel tends to be cheep
- Less demand on the fossil fuels

DISADVANTAGES
-Collecting or growing the fuels in sufficient quantities can be difficult.
-We burn the biomass so it makes greenhouse gasses just like fossil fuels do.
- Some waste materials are not available all year round.

Biomass is renewable as were going to carry n making waste products anyway. We can always plant sugarcane and grow more sugar.
